Chocolate & Coconut Treats

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL “L’Exotique”
Love dark chocolate? Love great coconut taste? Well then, you're going to adore these homemade Bounty bars! Just a few ingredients are required and no special equipment is needed. Honestly, there is no excuse for not making these moreish bars yourself. Absolutely worth a try.

100 g grated coconut
100 g coconut cream
20 g SUBLIM' “L’Exotique” organic virgin coconut oil
60 g agave syrup (or wildflower honey)
200 g dark chocolate

Préparation

Combine the grated coconut, coconut cream, agave syrup and SUBLIM’ “L’Exotique” organic virgin coconut oil.
Use your hands to shape into an oblong shape, you can form different sizes of bars according to the desired result.
Leave to set in the refrigerator for at least an hour (or the day before if you have the patience!) 😉 )
Melt the chocolate over a bain-marie or in a microwave (use 50-second intervals to avoid burning the chocolate), the chocolate must be very runny.
Next, dip the coconut “bars”, lift them out, for example, with a fork, and place on parchment paper or a non-stick mat.
Leave to set again in the refrigerator for a day, or ideally overnight, so that the chocolate crystallises (i.e., sets well) – this gives your bar added crunch.
Now, all that’s left to do is to try them!
*This bar is vegan, but you could also make a version using milk chocolate!
