

Break the chocolate into small pieces, and add to the saucepan with the almond drink over a low heat.
Add all the other ingredients.
Stir continuously, then use a hand-held blender to process the chocolate mixture until silky and foamy.
You can of course use a stick of cinnamon or a whole cardamom pod – remember to extend the cooking time to infuse these spices and always strain to remove them before blending!
Your drink is ready! Enjoy at teatime, after a Sunday stroll, or just before bedtime.
